washing dirty linen in public!

thats what blogs are meant for right? so here goes...

mother goes to the pile of clean and dry laundry and starts sorting clothes. Finds that a newly bought, fancy shancy white bra( go away all you google search creeps) has gone in the wrong load- and is now a muddy lilac. She swears, rather loudly, oh f#$*. She is really pretty upset.

The child peeps in worriedly. Sees objec that has been cursed. Picks it up, wears it around her neck like a garland and does a little jig chanting oh f#$* , oh f#$*.

Mother puts head in hand- maybe weeps a wee bit.

Does she despair over teaching child curse words?Or does she despair over white turning to muddy lilac? she does not know... she does not know...

ah, innocence unprotected.. :)

reminds me of the time i was woken from sleep by my grandad barking orders to me to give clothes for ironing to the dhobi who stood at the door. and i picked up the first bundle i saw of clothes, sending the undergarments of the entire family for ironing, causing much mirth in the colony. we wore ironed undies for a few days.

Poor Mom(:
Do you think bleach would render the fancy shancy bra white again?
I guess our tongues could do with some strong detergents too, especially with little mimics around:)

the bra, the bra. they cost the earth these days. baby tongues and minds can go to hell.. oh wait. is that not a very motherly thing to say?
