great tips

... to drink a cup of light darjeeling tea on a summer day, uninterrupted, staring vacantly into space:

take a doll/stuffed toy. the filthier the better. the bigger the better. more the numbers -the best! (that is if you have dont live in bby and have enough space to dry a miniature zoo of stuffed animals- and also if you desperately want to substitute refreshing tea with sopoforic alcoholic substance covered ice cold watermelon)

lead the child to a bucket of water. a bar of soap(one that you are willing to say goodbye to). with/without a scrubber.( i dont have the energy to put scrubber down on non existent shopping list- i usually wander aimlessly down supermarket aisles trying to remember what i need, cursing myself for never making THE list)

tell child- bathe doll/stuffed toy.

go sit on your favourite chair, pick up tea, and stare at spinning fan.

the sound of water and deligent scrubbing(even without scrubber) adds to wonderful meditative ambience.

You bet..it will surely work! Just need to leave the kids with water and you will have a good peaceful time by yourself!

Loved the way you wrote it! :D

See what you mean... my brat loves loading the machine. So I keep the pile near the laundry basket in my room and he runs from there to the machine with one piece of clothing at a time. Not as conducive to meditation but whatever keep him busy...
