kids' birthday party

overheard at the party:

a malyali man, a half gujrati half manglorean woman and a punjabi woman made an elaborate map of places to buy the best undercut, often pronounced andacut, between bandra and borivali.

it was a map detailed with much love and care and some drivel pouring down to the chins of the two ladies and one gents.

recipes were exchanged too. from the anglo-indian way to the goan and the malayali way of dealing with the said piece of meat. yes, the two ladies could not be forthcoming with a punj or guju or mangalorean way of treating undercut, but we did not fall short of recipes.

a plot was hatched to start a blog detailing map and recipes.

i am set to bid adieu to my mommy blog, shall inform you of the andacut map and recipe blog when its online. not sure many visitors will drop by that blog, but maybe just to say hello.

God, I missed all this news. OK, take your break. But come back soon. As Mommy, foodie, film maker, whatever.

Umm, as a 'new reader' to your blog, I guess I missed the bus. You don't really have to stop you know?!

Don't go, will miss your mommy blog. I was on the verge of shutting down my blog and you asked me to carry on. So do that now.

Please don't stop. Your posts are so enjoyable! At least do an occasional post.

I could write paeans to Koshy's and Blossom's. To me, Bangalore is the best city in the world, and it's a shame I can't live there right now.
Will definitely look forward to your foodie blog. But please please, you HAVE to promise to write in it regularly :-)

SUR NOTES said...

banno, penguin: i am terrified if i start a new blog i will be tempted to go back to sanahstories. and that has to stop! thats why the break is needed.

Idea for a new blog for you:
Interactive guide for the first time film maker. Amateurs with a script/idea for a script, could use help in developing it and shooting it right. a lot of NGOs who make training/promotional videos and docus would appreciate a resource like that - tips and some guidance on How to go about it. If you have the time of course. and you might find that it gives you a break from writing about Sanah! On second thoughts you probably don't want to talk about work either! anyway, its just a thought..
