We landed in Berlin in the middle of a heat wave. We were appropriately laden with itsy bitsy, thin, cotton clothes. And then we shed more clothes and took a little bag and hopped onto a train to Prague. It was hot and we wondered why we had so many (itsy bitsy)clothes on.
The next day it rained. It was fine, we had no umbrella but we walked around and drank hot coffee/soup.
And then the day after...No rain but the breeze began.Seemed innocuous. We trudged up a hill to see a castle. On a ridiculously low string budget, we realised that we could not afford to buy the expensive tickets to go into the castle. We would have been fine with it except that the winds on top of the damn hill were bonechilling and we had could find no corner to escape the biting cold.No corner in that excessive baroque style immense castle that provided any shelter from the gusts of wind.
Until we came to a (not so expensive)toy museum... lets just say that we all had our reasons for rushing in.
It really was a magical world that we entered, NOT sponsored by Disney, Thank you!
There was a Barbie section that was pretty enchanting too...
